Welcome to Dart Valley Cottages, we are a self catering holiday cottage agency with a fine selection of holiday cottages in the South Hams a very special part of South Devon. The majority of our self catering cottages are in the Dart Valley reaching from the vibrant little market town of Totnes to the historic maritime port of Dartmouth where the River Dart reaches the sea overlooked by Britannia Royal Naval College.
About Dart Valley Cottages
Our choice of holiday homes ranges from cosy holiday cottages for two to a spacious family house for ten, and many of our self catering cottages welcome dogs. At quieter times of the year we are able to offer short breaks. Close to award winning beaches, good sailing and wonderful coastal and countryside walks, the South Hams is a truly delightful part of South Devon at whatever time of year you choose to visit.

The River Dart passes by the waterside village of Dittisham, where we have a variety of holiday cottages, the village sees many families returning year after year. The river here is an ideal location for learning to sail, the two sailing schools and boat hire in the village are very popular with our guests. On the opposite bank, reached by passenger ferry is Greenway House and Gardens, once the home of Agatha Christie and now managed by the National Trust.
Here in the South Hams we also feature village cottages in the most picturesque countryside at Blackawton and Cornworthy and on our fabulous coastline at Stoke Fleming, Strete, Slapton, Beeson and East Prawle. There is a good stretch of the South West Coast Path to explore discovering secluded coves and the impressive local beaches. Blackpool Sands a well known Blue Flag beach sits between the coastal villages of Stoke Fleming and Strete, with good facilities included an award winning al fresco cafe and water sports. Quieter beaches are to found at Slapton Sands and Beesands.
